Jelly - Conceptual fluid project
I have always been a fan of creating abstract liquid forms using Realflow. With the new release, they offered faster simulation times and from there, I started working on "Jelly".
The idea is to express changing life forms, connecting living creatures to each other and embrace life in a surreal environment. I will post more renders and a storyboard as I progress with the project.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
FX work on ALVH
I have been working on Timur Bekmambetov's latest movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter since January 2011. Lots of FX shots. I am working on a lot of volumetric effects which are quite challenging and new territory for me in Houdini. And talking about vampires... They are everywhere these days.
"The movie explores the secret life of Lincoln, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the blood-thirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history's greatest hunter of the undead."
It's been quite a fun project to work on and cannot wait to see it on the big screen in June 22, 2012.
